In Boulder County, two geese share their wit and wisdom in a simple lakeside conversation. Standing together on the smooth stones at the water's edge, they pretend to listen to each other, occasionally letting loose with their characteristic honking cry. We have reason to believe, though, that while they presume to be attentive, they think only of their next clever response.
Joel created this radiantly amusing Colorado portrait in his signature neo-impressionist style, to help us delight in the ever fascinating habits of nature's animal kingdom.
