Mountains have a vital living presence. This scene helps us remember that wonderful feeling when we gaze upon mountains in all their glory. We breathe more easily, and a feeling of expansive joy gently emerges in our hearts.
We can see this peaceful scene from a rural dirt road in Longmont, Colorado. Amid the small farms and ranches, our eyes rest on open wild fields, with the Front Range Mountains in the distance. We realize that it's the perfect moment to take a breath, and slow down for a moment or two.
