When we gaze into the eyes of this peacefully comfortable squirrel, sitting in quiet solitude within the safe shelter of its tree, we recognize that we can relax as well. In Boulder County, amid the green trees of Longmont, Colorado, we find ourselves breathing more easily when we remember that the primal heartbeat of nature whispers its healing rhythms deep within our hearts and minds.
Joel created this vibrantly sparkling vision of nature in his signature neo-impressionist style, to express the ease with which squirrels are at one with their natural environment. This helps us discover how we might become more at peace within our own human world.
