Artist's Description

In Boulder County, on the banks of McIntosh Lake in Longmont, Colorado, we discover the gently exotic Sanguisorba flowers revealing their unique charm. On this peacefully languid day in late summer, we find ourselves admiring this profusion of magenta marvels, and we wonder at the richly creative capacity expressed by the natural world.

Joel created this mesmerizing floral arabesque in his signature neo-impressionist style, to express the hypnotic healing beauty of the plant kingdom.
