As you can see the theme was taken from a publication of a Spanish label made in honor of Rodrigo Diaz de Vivar, El Cid, the Spanish hero who lived in the eleventh century and was immortalized in the fighting against the Moorish invasions. The image has its origin of the statue of El Cid in Burgos, work of Juan Cristóbal González Quesada, inaugurated in 1955.
