Description
In Boulder County, the St. Vrain river meanders through the woodlands. We relax for a moment by the riverbank to breathe in the sights, sounds, and scents of the many plants that are nourished by the waters. The consciousness of the natural world has its own essence, and we imagine that it touches our heart, as if to whisper the mystical story of our timeless soul.
Joel created this dramatically colorful abstract healing work in his signature neo-impressionist style, to express the essence of a river that reminds us of our soul's song.

I enjoyed this abstract water exploration with color and a feeling of stained glass, Joel. L/f
Kimberlee Baxter
This caught my eye, Joel, and I immediately thought it looked like painted glass, because it has such a luminescent quality! Love the pretty color combination, too--the cool colors with blue greens mixed with warm tones! I can see the inspiration of the title, as the movement and form brings to mind spirits or winged beings intertwined with each other! L/F/FB!
Joel Bruce Wallach replied:
I appreciate your insights about the cosmic beings flowing throughout the scene, Kimberlee!

This is so beautiful Joel! Has that stained glass look to it. The colors are just gorgeous too :) fl
Joel Bruce Wallach replied:
Thank you, Megan; perhaps nature is so essential spiritual that it begins to look like a church window!

Splendid work, Joel ! Amazing use of colors and technique. I just love the brilliant way you abstracted the river's water and reflections. f,l
Joel Bruce Wallach replied:
Thank you very much, Ana; abstractions can reveal the essence of reality, in some ways more than realism can.
