I am pleased to present "Winter War". Although its oil counterpart, "Counting Coup", has received very positive feedback, I thought I would attempt a similar image with acrylic paint. The effect is stunning. The violent stories of the great American Indian wars in the Great Plains of the U.S. somehow hides behind the "softness" of this painting. The gentle contrasts of color belies the stark reality this painting represents. This painting will draw the attention, interest and compliments of all who view it hanging on your wall.
