In Boulder County, two friendly donkeys are chatting together in their dandelion field, on a tranquil farm in Longmont, Colorado. They enjoy this sunny day while gossiping about the curious ways of the human world. One of the donkeys is giving us a knowing look, as if to say that there may be hope for humanity, after all.
Joel created this heartfelt rural scene in his signature neo-impressionist style, to express the deep intuitive kinship naturally shared by animals, so that we can learn from them how to be more harmonious, ourselves.
